See you at the Crossroads
I know you might miss your Uncle Charles, and all.... (#bonethugs #clevelandgirl)
BUT.
Anytime my mind wandered to the worst possible scenario of death, I simply thought to myself, STOP.
Just stop. You aren't done yet.
You can't be done.
The thing I thought about right before I went under anesthesia for my surgery was that "I can't die because I have to help other women who are going through this too."
Now, I could leave my surgery and get hit by a bus, which isn't far off in New York -- but this cancer is not going to be the one to decide that fate.
I will leave you with a quote from a good friend that struggled with cancer also. He said, "Cancer hates positivity. True, authentic positivity."
Boom.
